AssetWise Implementation Guide

Before You Install or Upgrade AssetWise Director

  1. Refer to the AssetWise Readme for a list of supported operating systems and other system requirements for this module.
  2. Make sure the computer you are installing on is on the domain.
  3. If a previous version of AssetWise Director is installed, uninstall it now, then restart your computer.
  4. Make sure Microsoft .NET Framework 4.7.2 is installed.
  5. Install Brava! Desktop. Versions 7.3 and 7.4 are supported.

    Brava! is a third party file viewer, used for viewing files in AssetWise when you do not have the file's native application installed. If you install Brava Desktop, make sure you also install the Integrated Brava! Viewer Support option during AssetWise Director installation.
